Mdumbi Beach

Arguably one of South Africa’s most spectacular coastal destinations, Mdumbi Beach is not, however, for those who like glitz, glam, shopping, and urban comforts. It’s remote and wild, backed by hills thick with milkwood trees and lush undergrowth, and boasts a pristine beach measuring roughly 100 metres in width and over a kilometre in length, as well as a point break that is considered one of the country’s finest surf spots.
