Orkney Golf Club

Based on the banks of the Vaal River west of Johannesburg, Orkney Golf Club boasts a rich history dating back to 1939. Originally a 9-hole course, it was expanded to a full 18 holes a few years later, becoming one of the few surviving mine courses in the area. Today, the tree-lined parkland layout offers well-maintained greens, with over 30 bunkers adding challenge. The Vaal River's presence provides a scenic backdrop for golfers enjoying this historic course.
