About Heros Acre
The Heroes' Acre, part of Church Street Cemetery in Pretoria, South Africa, established in 1867, is a resting place for prominent historical figures such as Andries Pretorius, Paul Kruger, and Hendrik Verwoerd. It also holds the grave of Australian Boer War war criminal Harry "Breaker" Morant, executed for war crimes during the Second Anglo-Boer War.
