Freedom Park

Opened in 2004, the Freedom Park Heritage Site & Museum in Pretoria honours the memory of those who fought for South Africa's liberation. The park features various monuments, a museum, and beautifully landscaped gardens in a poignant tribute to the nation's history. This site includes a solemn memorial with the names of those who lost their lives during the South African Wars, World War I, World War II, and the Apartheid era.
