Lake Jozini

Nestled between the majestic Ubombo and Lebombo mountains, Josini Dam is a 16 000 hectare, tiger fishing dream. The dam borders with the Pongola Nature Reserve and Game Reserve and so lures game viewers with visions of wildlife sightings. The dam’s location on the so-called Elephant Coast is a good indication of exactly which member of the animal kingdom the area is renowned for. Accommodation is available on house boats, from which views are excellent, especially in the evenings, when glow-flies light up the darkness.
