Pietermaritzburg City Hall

Pietermaritzburg City Hall, constructed from 1893 to 1900, stands proudly at the intersection of Commercial Road and Church Street, commanding the city centre with its soaring 47-meter-tall bell clock tower. Notably, it claims the title of the largest all-brick building in the Southern Hemisphere and is home to the world's largest pipe organ. A renowned tourist destination in KwaZulu-Natal, this historic landmark earned National Landmark status in 1969.
