About Long Tom Pass
Long Tom Pass is completely different from the difficult, dangerous route it once was when it was used to transport goods from Mozambique to Lyndenburg. Named after the Long Tom cannons that were used during the Anglo-Boer War, Long Tom Pass takes one past stunning mountain ranges. It is the highest pass over the Mpumalanga Drakensberg, ensuring wonderful views of the Sabie Valley and the Mount Anderson and Mauchsberg peaks.
