This meticulously restored farm boasts a rich 300-year legacy. Situated on the southeastern slopes of Paarl Mountain, Kleine Draken is South Africa's only fully kosher boutique winery. Here, everything involved in the winemaking process adheres to strict kosher regulations overseen by both the Cape Beth Din and the American Orthodox Union (OU). A mashgiach, or certified kosher supervisor, is present throughout the production, ensuring all practices and ingredients meet kosher requirements. Even the equipment used is dedicated solely to crafting kosher wines, and only certified kosher products like yeast are used.
