Originally built in 1917, the Gifberg Pass is a challenging gravel pass connecting Vanrhynsdorp and the mountaintop farms of the Gifberg. The pass ascends to the Matsikamma mountain and features brilliant views, San rock art, waterfalls and a variety of flora and fauna. This popular pass can be enjoyed by both 4x4 vehicles and sedan drivers.
