Sudwala Caves & Dinosaur Park

The Sudwala Caves’ claim to fame is that they are the oldest of their kind in the world. Formed about 2000 million years ago, the Sudwala Caves were used for shelter in pre-historic times. Now, visitors can view the ‘Lowveld Rocket’, ‘Samson’s Pillar’, ‘Screaming Monster’ and other ancient, amazing caverns, stalactites and stalagmites while touring these dolomite caves. Adjacent to the caves, the Dinosaur Park displays the main representatives of different dinosaur families in lush sub-tropical gardens.
