Matjiesfontein Transport Museum

Situated on the village outskirts, the Transport Museum showcases an impressive assortment of vintage cars spanning the 1930-1960s period. Among these classics are Chevys, Dodges, and a Jaguar MK8. Notable exhibits feature two Royal Daimlers used during King George VI's 1947 South Africa tour, accompanied by Princesses Elizabeth (now Queen Elizabeth II) and Margaret. The museum houses a diverse collection, including antique bicycles of various styles, an ex-London bus, and a steam train with carriages that invite exploration.
