Tugela Ferry Town

Tugela Ferry is a small town on the banks of the Tugela River, named in honour of the ferry that operated there before the construction of the bridge. Most homes in this quaint town are built in a traditional style utilising mud, rock and straw – only recently have concrete and tin-roof structures appeared.
