Karkloof Nature Reserve

Covering a portion of the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands, this reserve protects indigenous forests, grasslands, and wetlands. It supports diverse wildlife, including samango monkeys, bushbuck, and numerous bird species. Hiking and mountain biking trails lead through dense woodlands and past cascading waterfalls. The Karkloof Canopy Tour provides an aerial perspective of the forest, with zip lines suspended high among the treetops.
