About Knysna Rastafarians
A close-knit community of Rastafarians live just outside Knysna in a section of the Khayalethu Township known as Judah Square and peppered with Rasta catchphrases and images of Bob Marley and former Ethiopian emperor Haile Selassie, regarded by Rastas as a sacred prophet. The community adheres to strict Rastafarian principles, including abstinence from eating meat or drinking alcohol.
