Red Stone Hills

Sixty million years ago, sediments were laid down beneath water. Over time, they were tilted by powerful natural pressures and began to dry out. The result is Redstone Hills - beautiful red-orange sandstones and mudstones. Gentle hiking trails take visitors around the hills, past bushmen paintings and to the top, where they are rewarded with amazing panoramic views and a close-up view of the spectacular archway eroded away by millennia of climatic abrasion.
