This popular tourist attraction sees around 100 000 visitors each year and offers beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding area. Piled dolerite columns can be seen with the landscape of the Great Karoo as a majestic backdrop. The valley is said to have been formed due to volcanic forces over the course of 200 million years.
