Bayworld Snake Park

Bayworld Snake Park is located within the Bayworld complex in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth), South Africa, and has been exhibiting reptiles since 1919. Visitors can view a variety of reptiles, including snakes, lizards, crocodiles, tortoises and terrapins, while learning about the different species through informative displays and signage. Many of the reptiles housed at the park are indigenous to the surrounding area, providing insight into the region’s fauna. The facility was established to support education and awareness, helping visitors recognise local reptile species and better understand their characteristics and habitats.
