The Zwartenbosch Golf Club lies just outside of Humansdorp at the foot of an incredibly mountainous region depicted by rocky facades, exceptional beauty and the farmlands for which the Humansdorp and Hankey areas are famous for. The nine current holes on offer here have been wonderfully crafted by the Gary Player design and are, in the near future, to be redesigned by Phil Jacobs into a links-style par 72 that strives to balance the fun of the game with its competitive rivalry, both aspects thoroughly enjoyed by all golfers. Greens here are pristine; fairways do not come lusher and the views; magnificent. Zwartenbosch is a firm favourite amongst local Eastern Cape golfers and is a true gem. Being in such close proximity to both Jeffrey’s Bay and St Francis Bay doesn’t hurt either. Current facilities include a temporary clubhouse while the main is being constructed, kiosk, bar and cloakrooms. Golfing dress code is also to be respected.
