Siege of Eshowe (1879)

Lasting for nearly two months, the Siege of Eshowe in 1879 was a pivotal military conflict during the Anglo-Zulu War where British forces, led by Colonel Charles Pearson, defended the mission station of Eshowe against a Zulu army commanded by King Cetshwayo.
