Great Fish River Reserves

The Great Fish River Reserve in the valley of the Great Fish River consists of the three reserves: the Andries Vosloo Kudu Reserve, Sam Knott Nature Reserve and Double Drift Nature Reserve. This large reserve is quieter than most others, offering a more peaceful and personal experience with nature. Its rugged valley bushveld terrain is home to an abundance of game, including elephant, buffalo, lion, the endangered black rhino, hippo, kudu and more. The historical Great Fish River runs through the park, fringed by riverine thicket which attracts various birds such as the endangered blue crane.
