Adelaide

Adelaide and its surrounds have been recorded in numerous texts, including literary records of frontier life and autobiographies, as well as in paintings. The area is overflowing with history. In the town itself, history can be found in the old homes, graceful churches, monuments, cemetery and two-storey colonial style museum, which is also a national monument. Adelaide also features attractive tree-lined streets, a large town square and a township where visitors can get a glimpse of the traditions and culture of the Xhosa people.
