About The Mashu Museum of Ethnology
The Mashu Museum of Ethnology is housed in a neo-Cape Dutch style house, Muckleneuk, the former home of sugar farmer and politician Sir Marshall Campbell. The gallery showcases an extensive collection of cultural artefacts from Southern Africa’s indigenous cultures, particularly the Zulu. Visitors can view a display of traditional Zulu metal-work, pottery, woodwork, basketry, musical instruments, costume and beadwork.
