About Mitchell Park Zoo
Mitchell Park Zoo is located in Durban, South Africa, and was named after Sir Charles Bullen Hugh Mithell. Established as an ostrich farm, the zoo is home to a variety of animals and birds, including crocodiles, bucks, cranes, raccoons, monkeys and tortoises. Facilities include a playground for children, paraplegic facilities and a tea garden.
