About Beachwood Mangroves Nature Reserve
Located in the province of Kwa-Zulu Natal, the Beachwood Mangroves Nature Reserve is situated at the mouth of the Umgeni River. The reserve is approximately 76 hectares and hosts three types of mangrove trees as well as a variety of animals such as mudskippers, mangrove kingfishers and fiddler crabs.
