About Darling Cellars
Lying along the Darling Wine Route, Darling Cellars was set up in 1996 and marked the start of a new epoch in the region’s history. Roughly 20 estates contribute to the co-operative, which produces a wide range of red and white wines under the supervision of cellar master Abé Beukes, who sums up his approach in the words: “What nature gives us each year; we try and get into the bottle with passion and honour.” Cellar tours and picnic baskets can be pre-arranged. The tasting room is open Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, Saturdays and most public holidays 10am to 2pm.
