Bothongo WonderCave

Bothongo WonderCave is a cave attraction located within the Bothongo Rhino and Lion Nature Reserve in the Cradle of Humankind, Gauteng, South Africa. Visitors can descend into the cave via stairs and an elevator, join guided tours, and observe formations such as stalactites, stalagmites, and rim stone pools. The cave is estimated to be between five and ten million years old, was discovered by miners in the late nineteenth century, and remains one of the largest cave chambers in the country, with many of its mineral formations still developing naturally over time.
