The Old Town House (1755) was the Burgher Watch House and then Cape Town’s first City Hall and today houses Michaelis Collection – a selection of world-renowned of Dutch and Flemish masters, including Frans Hals, Anthony van Dyck, Jan Steen, Jacob van Ruysdael and Jan van Goyen.
