Table Bay

It is due to the natural protection Table Bay offered that Cape Town is where it is today. After being discovered, the bay became famous as a haven for ships, however it was a poor natural harbour and many sailing ships were driven ashore by storms. Now however, Table Bay offers a protected piece of open sea for water sports and there are various charters available from the Waterfront.
