Grootbos Foundation

The Grootbos Foundation is the non profit arm of the Grootbos Private Nature Reserve founded in 2003.

The vision and mandate of the Foundation is the conservation of the Cape floral kingdom and the upliftment of the community therein.

Over the past 15 years, the Foundation has developed grass roots programmes in our surrounding communities addressing vocational education, sport for development, early learning centers, food security and entrepreneurship. In the last year over 12 000 local beneficiaries benefitted from the programmes and work of the Grootbos Foundation.
