About Strandveld Vineyards
Africa’s southernmost wine estate, Strandveld was founded in 2001 in the historical town of Elim. Despite its relative infancy in viticultural terms, Strandveld established itself as a winner right off the bat, picking up an overwhelming number of awards since 2006, including two inclusions in Wine magazine’s 2010 Sauvignon Blanc Top Ten list. The tasting room is open Mondays to Thursdays 8am to 5pm; Fridays 8am to 4pm; Saturdays 10am to 3pm.
