Calvinia Museum

Located in the Karoo, Calvinia Museum offers visitors the opportunity to learn about the history of South African sheep farming. Visitors can view farming activities illustrated through a flour mill, a bucket pump, blacksmith and cobbling workshops, and soap and candle-making tools. The museum also exhibits clothing, brass, porcelain and other items related to the customs of the early European settlers.
