Nyamirambo Women's Center

With the aim of addressing gender violence, gender inequality and discrimination, the Nyamirambo Women's Center was launched as an NGO at the end of 2007. The mission of the centre is to provide education and vocational training to impoverished women to enrich their lives. The women create a large variety of women’s accessories, children’s clothing, and home decor products. Tourists to the Nyamirambo area can enjoy guided tours offering a personal insight into the culture, history and daily life of the community members. The centre features a shop where tourists can purchase gifts and clothing.
