About Gabiro Combat Training Site
Gabiro Combat Training Site is a military base located in Rwanda. During the liberation struggle, it accommodated a presidential palace and a guest house that was protected by the army camp. This site was also the first significant military barracks of the former Rwanda Armed Forces comprising of +- 30,000 troops in 1994.
