The Coulée de lave 2007 in Réunion is classified as part of the Grand Brûlé, situated at the southern base of the Tremblet Rampart. Emitted by the Piton Tremblet volcano at an altitude of 580 metres, this lava flow extended to the sea, spanning a width of 1.8 kilometres. To observe this remarkable geological feature, visitors can follow the RN2 highway into the Grand Brûlé and stop near the lava flow immediately north of the Tremblet Rampart. From there, a short hike to the Belvedere viewpoint provides an excellent vantage point for witnessing this impressive natural phenomenon.
