National Botanic Garden of Namibia

The National Botanic Garden of Namibia is located on a hill in Windhoek and stretches over 12 hectares of land. Visitors to this nature reserve can observe and learn about Namibia's fascinating plants. At the reception desk, guests receive bird and plant lists while they journey off into a self-guided walking trail through the garden.

The purpose of the Botanic Gardens is to function as a recreational and educational nature facility and to protect and promote the sustainability of the Namibian flora for Namibians- as well as visitors.
