Otjikoto Lake

Otjikoto Lake is located in Etosha East, Namibia. It has an average depth of 148 feet, and takes up a surface area of 1.3 acres. The lake was used as a dumping ground for war materials during World War I. The majority of the larger pieces of ammunition have been recovered and placed in the Tsumeb Museum, however at least 2 cannons still remain in the lake.
