Grosse Spitzkuppe Nature Reserve

Rising more than 1700m above sea level, the Gross Spitzkoppe forms part of the Spitzkoppe mountain range and has been photographed countless times. The Spitzkoppe or “Matterhorn” of Namibia is a well-known landmark and also includes the Pondok Mountains, named by the Afrikaans after the African huts that they resemble.
