About Evangelical Lutheran Church Complex
The Evangelical Lutheran Church Complex is situated in Bethanie, Namibia. One of the first mission churches built in Namibia, the Evangelical Lutheran Chruch was built by Herrmann Heinrich Kreft of the Rhenish Mission Society and was established as a national monument in February 1952. The complex features Reverend Schmelen’s Cottage, the original mission church, and an adjacent graveyard.
