Skeleton Coast Park North

The northern section of the Skeleton Coast National Park is a remote wilderness characterised by huge, shifting sand dunes. Most of this northern area is out-of-bounds to tourists – except by means of exclusive and strictly controlled fly-in safaris – in order to protect several rare wildlife species that live there.
