About Palmwag Concession
A vast and magnificent protected area located in the northwestern part of Namibia, Palmwag Concession is a 550 000 hectare basalt landscape formed by massive magma eruptions around 125 million years ago. This spellbinding scene is a haven for wildlife, including elephants, mountain zebras, giraffes, and antelopes. It also lures nature lovers to its enthralling and tranquil beauty. Highlights include Uniab, an almost 120 km long dry river, and the hauntingly beautiful Etendeka Plateau. The area is dotted with lodges and campsites where guests can unwind before embarking on a self-drive or guided tour.
