Neckartal Dam, also known as the Desert Dragon, is a dam located in southern Namibia. The dam is located on Fish River and after five years of construction, it was completed in 2018. It is the largest dam in Namibia and its purpose is to support the nearby 5000-hectare irrigation scheme.
