Hoachanas is a small settlement found on the junction of the C21 from Kalkand and the C15 from Dordabis to Stampriet. It is part of the Mariental Rural electoral constituency and has a population of about 3000 inhabitants. It found in the Hardap Region and is the main settlement of the Khaillkhaun, a subtribe of the Nama people.
