Huab Lagoon

Huab Lagoon is a coastal wetland at the mouth of the Huab River within Skeleton Coast National Park in north-western Namibia. Visitors can observe flamingos, pelicans and other birdlife, enjoy birdwatching, take photographs of the lagoon and surrounding landscape, and explore the area via nearby coastal tracks. A notable feature of the lagoon is its location between the Atlantic coastline and the arid desert environment, creating an important habitat for birds along the Skeleton Coast.
