Dordabis

Dordabis is a small town in central Namibia, roughly an hour’s drive from the country’s capital, Windhoek. It is set in a lush valley of acacia trees and surrounded by rolling hills. The area is an important centre for sheep farming, while the town has become something of a crafts centre in recent years, attracting artists and in particular, weavers. You can take a tour of a weavery and learn all about the weaving process, as well as purchase the beautiful handcrafted carpets and mats.
