About MV Dunedin Star

Situated along the Skeleton Coast in Namibia, the MV Dunedin Star was a UK refrigerated cargo ship. The ship was built from 1935 to 1936 by a company called Cammell Laird and Co. During World War II, the ship carried munitions and supplies as well as passengers who wanted to escape from London. Along the way, the ship hit an obstacle underwater and grounded 500 metres offshore.
