Sussundenga

Sussundenga is a rural district in central-west Mozambique. The area was devastated by Cyclone Idai in March 2019, which left hundred homeless or otherwise affected in its wake and caused hundreds of fatalities. Dozens of the victims were buried in a mass grave in Sussundenga - now a sobering memorial to the tragedy.
