Jummah Mosque

Jummah Mosque is located in the city of Port Louis. The magnificent edifice is a combination of Mughal and Moorish architecture. The mosque features a main prayer hall adorned with beautiful chandeliers and also a courtyard with an exotic tree. The mosque opened in the 1850s with Hajee Sherally Soobedar as its first Imam. Visitors can visit this mosque for tours and also observe how devotees worship on Fridays.
