La Prairie Beach

With breathtaking views, white sand and crystal waters, the La Prairie Beach is located on the west coast of Mauritius and boasts the incredible vista of Le Morne Brabant Mountain. The beach is known for its phosphorescence caused by bioluminescent plankton that creates a glowing effect in the water at night. During the day, visitors can enjoy snorkelling or swimming in the shallow waters, that contains some of the most varied marine life in the area.
