Chamarel Waterfall

The Chamarel Waterfalls are the most well known and recognised waterfalls in Mauritius, and a major attraction for tourists. The waterfall has a height of 83 metres and is surrounded by lush green vegetation. An upper deck installed at the waterfalls allows tourists to have a clear view of the falls. Visitors can follow a trail leading to the bottom of the falls to swim in the shallow pools.
