About Livingstonia Mission
Livingstonia Mission, perched 900 metres above Lake Malawi on the Nyika Plateau, reflects the legacy of Scottish missionaries in Malawi since the 1870s. Founded by Dr. Robert Laws, the mission relocated multiple times before settling in its current healthier, picturesque location in 1894. Livingstonia features historic red-brick buildings, a stained-glass-adorned church, and the Old Stone House museum.
